Firstly, human intelligence does not always translate into wise decision-making, as individuals and societies often prioritize short-term gains over long-term sustainability. Additionally, the complexity of environmental issues and the interconnectedness of global systems can make it difficult for individuals to fully grasp the impact of their actions. Furthermore, the pursuit of economic growth and technological advancement has often come at the expense of environmental degradation, as humans have exploited natural resources without fully considering the consequences. Overall, the destruction of the Earth by humans despite their intelligence highlights the need for a shift in mindset and behavior towards more sustainable and responsible practices. **
